Certified Dental Assistant/Applied Business Tech/ Pharmacy Tech- Which is a better career option?

Hi, I am a grade 11 student that is planning what to do when I graduate from highschool. Right now, the career options that I am exploring are Dental Assistant, Applied Business Technology, or Pharmacy Technician. Which one of the three has a better outlook? I am planning to be working part-time with that job( under 25 hours a week) and be able to support myself financially. Which one would have a better pay and allow me to work those hours? I am from Canada BC by the way. Thanks!

I've always wanted to work for State Farm but I think general education is a huge waste of time and money. Short description of the degree: "This Associate in Applied Science Degree prepares students to specialize in Business Technology. The student receives extensive hands-on experience in application packages. Employment positions for graduates include receptionists, office clerks, office managers and administrative assistants."

Applying to multiple programs at the same university?

I'm planning on applying to these 3 programs, all at Ryerson: Business Management Business Technology Management Retail Management I remember my guidance counsellor talking about applying to university, and she mentioned something about not being able to apply to more than 1 program at the same university if the courses are in the same category. So, in my case, because all 3 programs are business programs (which should mean it's in the same category), would I only be able to apply to 1 of the 3?

What is the best undergraduate degree to get before applying to graduate school for film?

I have heard that a bachelor's in film is too redundant, and that it is better to just minor in film but major in something else if you're going to apply to master in film (production/business). I am looking to master at some really excellent schools such as USC, UCLA, NYU, anywhere like that. I have two years left of school and am minoring in Film & Media Production, but what would the best major be? I am considering: -Technical Communication -English Creative Writing -Digital Culture with an emphasis in Technological Entrepreneurship -Business with an emphasis in Marketing (but this one is at a less well known school) My ultimate end goal is to be a showrunner, which first requires being a producer. I love writing, acting, and directing as well but I'd rather spend my college money on the business side of film. Anyone know what kind of bachelor's would be best before applying to a masters program at a higher up school? Thank you!

I am in the process of applying to a Doctoral Program in Business. My goal is to build a business income stream by promoting my value proposition to SME businesses to help them save money or improve ROI by implementing my process improvement initiatives. Therefore, I am searching for grants and/or scholarships to buy stand along process improvement, statistical and simulation software, and small Enterprise software-as-a-service platform. In addition, I need to attend e-learning workshops and buy a communication server to develop and host real-time training for SME via my entrepreneurial initiative. My business model will integrate change management, organizational psychology, real-time training and deliver research, design and process improvement solutions; regardless of devices, browsers and platforms.

What kind of job can you get with a bachelors degree in business applied management?

I have one year left of school at National American University and I am just curious as to what is out there for a job in my major. I already have an associates degree in aerospace maintenance technology through the Air Force also. I am kind of debating weather or not to get out of the service and find a new job on the outside when my degree is done. It's a big decision to get out or not since I have already been in the service for about 10 years and have another 10 to go if I want to retire from the service.

Is health information technology a good major to decide on?

I originally picked business as my major, but only because they kind of made me pick a major and at the time I was unsure and I picked business. I took an accounting class during my first semester and I ended up dropping that class because it was difficult for me to understand anything related to accounting. I would study for my tests and still fail them. I have most of my basics finished up now, and I was flipping through this degree book for my school and came across a page that had a health information technology program degree. I have spent almost two years in school and this is something that I actually might be interested in. The classes sound like they may be difficult but I am going to try my best if I end up applying for this program. I am a bit of an introvert and keeping track of medical records sounds like something I would be interested in instead of a nurse, for example which deals with people alot. Is this a good major for a less outgoing person? And what are some other
