Questions About Color Bridge
Cannot find "Creative Suite Color Settings" under edit in Bridge. I'm trying to set my color setting across all my CS3 software and been following directions from a tutorial but I can't find the "Creative Suite Color Settings" under edit in Bridge. Anyone know another way around it?
Anyone know anything about Freehand MX color management on a Mac? I'm pretty savvy with the theory and practice of color management. I use Photoshop CS3, Bridge, iView MediaPro, Preview, a few others, and color is consistent throughout on screen (except for Firefox, which doesn't manage color). But FreeHand: any images I import have the washed-out look of non-color-managed documents. No matter what settings I try in Preferences, nothing changes. (I have selected ColorSync, by the way.) Even inputting bizarre settings (Like Adobe RGB for the Monitor setting) produces no changes on screen. My output is simply to a pdf file, which gets digitally printed, but this output obviously has the washed-out look. Exporting as a jpg is washed-out too. Through Google I have learned that FreeHand color management is quirky, but to my eye it looks non-existent.
Are both of the existing Bosphorus bridges identical to one another in terms of looks? As in, do they both look identical when viewed from a far? Do both of them lid up in different colors at night?

The Golden Gate bridge in California is not named for its color, which is orange. It is actually named for the Golden Gate Straight which flows from the Pacific Ocean into the San Francisco Bay.
Despite the name, the Golden Gate Bridge isn't really golden! It's color is more of an orange color in fact. There is a lot of information about the Golden Gate bridge and how it came to be on Wikipedia. I'ts a very interesting read.
Does anyone know how to get the colors right? cos they seem to be different in photoshop when i edit, different when i open raw image, different in bridge.. Is it possible that its the screen that messes the colors up? i tried everything!
The "Golden Gate" is a natural formation composed of rocks, vegetation, and the sea. It was named a long, long time ago by mariners sailing into San Francisco harbor. The rocks on either side of the bay entrance were orange-gold in color, a...
The Golden Gate bridge is not red at all. It is International Orange, or orange vermillion. This color was chosen for it's ability to be seen in foggy conditions, better than other colors. To find more information click here: http://www.gol...

I decided to reword my previous question, maybe that will help some lol september wedding, ivory dress 3-tier damask style cake lily/orchid flowers outdoor ceremony( if weather permits) that has an old well in the middle of the park with an old rustic red metal bridge off to the side( which i will walk across). or an church ceremony with it being oak/mahogany wood with red/maroon accents. reception will be in the church hall, which is mainly white I was originally planning on aqua being the main color, but after being pointed out that aqua is more of a summer color and agreeing( the wedding was originally planned for summer which is why we chose aqua), I decided to go with a different theme. My fiance doesn't care about the colors, as long as there is no brown. so with that being said, what colors work with sepetember that wont clash with the red in the church/park
SpotColorFilter: I do prepress at a print shop, and need to figure out if PMS 360 C (from the Pantone spot color range) has an exact CMYK equivalent. We have a few PMS swatch books around, but not the Color Bridge variety, which is able to provide this information. Recently a client who's in charge of a franchise-type business came in with business-card artwork from his corporate overlords. They have a four-color photo, plus three PMS colors (yikes! Don't they know? That's a double-pass, right there...). Anyway, the guy said that the corporate identity was really built around the green color, which was PMS 360, and that just had to match. But they really wanted the photo (of a piece of fruit) to be realistic, too. I figure we could turn the other PMS colors, Warm Gray 9 and Warm Gray 11, which are used for the typeset copy on the card, into percentages of black and not tick off the corporate art department too much, but even then it's looking like a 5-color job.
