I'm probably not right but I would say Hershel Walker of the Johnson County High School Trojans.
Questions About Hershel Walker
What is it about college football that attracts such a huge following? I haven't followed it since Doug Flutie?
I don't understand why anyone would be interested in college ball unless they're an alumnus of that college. But there's no sport that is discussed more on the ground than college football. The pretentious reason used to be that college players don't play for money but for the love of the game. That notion bit the dust 30 years ago with Hershell Walker, who was a millionaire in endorsements alone while he was still in the college ranks. I frankly don't understand the interest in the inferior brand of football played in college.
The USFL, United States Football League, played during the spring time in the early '80s. There were fewer teams than the NFL and had teams in many cities without NFL teams. The play was not quite as good as the NFL (that's being polite) but it was a starting point for Steve Young, Hershel Walker, Jim Kelly and other NFL players. Would you like to see another footbal league like the USFL today? If so, what could make it successful a second time around.
Here's mine: 1. Barry Sanders(Oklahoma St., 1988) 2. Marcus Allen(USC, 1981) 3. Ricky Williams(Texas, 1998) 4. Hershel Walker(Georgia, 1981) 5. Mike Rozier(Nebraska, 1983)
Just seems uncanny that so many can expire around one family, while holding a office. If Hillary takes it in 08, any bets on what that body count will be? Food for ThoughtAca'!A Just a quick refresher course lest we forget what has happened to many "friends"of the Clintons. 1-James McDougal - Clinton's convicted Whitewater partner died of an apparent heart attack, while in solitary confinement. He was a key witness in Ken Starr's investigation. 2 -Mary Mahoney - A former White House intern was murdered July 1997 at a Starbucks Coffee Shop in Georgetown. The murder happened just after she was to go public with her story of sexual harassment in the White House. 3- Vince Foster - Former White House councilor, and colleague of Hillary Clinton at Little Rock's Rose Law firm. Died of a gunshot wound to the head, ruled a suicide. 4- Ron Brown - Secretary of Commerce and former DNC Chairman. Reported to have died by impact in a plane crash.
