Questions About Master In Education

What alternative routes to teacher certification can I take as a person who already has a Masters in Education?

I have a Masters and certification in Early Childhood. Now I'd like to work as a special educator. Seems the only way to get there is another Masters in Special Ed. I'd like to find a way to do this cheaply and quickly. I have looked into Teaching Fellows and similar programs, and all specifically require that applicants have no background in teaching. What can I do?

Is a Masters in Education degree easy to be obtained?

I am currently live in NYC and I am currently finishing up my Masters in Education and Special Education degree. While doing the degree I really did not find it to be hard so I was wondering if it was the school I attend. I also found other people who completed their Masters in Education at other schools found it not to be challenging. I was wondering if a Master in Education on a whole is a easy degree to obtained? Thanks

Immersive Education Degree

Greetings! Would anyone here have any information about obtaining a masters or PhD in immersive education? I have a Masters in Education, but I would like to focus on the educational possibilities of 3D virtual worlds like Second Life, Reaction Grid and Wonderland. I believe these environments have astounding potential. If not a degree then perhaps some best practices ideas... thanks so much! I have a couple of years of experience within the VR game Second Life, and a bit in Reaction Grid, but I would like to delve more into the educational aspects of this. I am a member of Immersive Education Grid (http://immersiveeducation.org/).

How long does it take to get a teacher's certificate or should i get a masters in education?

I am going to be a high school math teacher in kentucky. I am going to get my bachelors in mathematics or i could get my bachelors in mathematics education which may be better, but im going to take the course online at cameron university and think the first one would be easier. I plan on maybe going to a big university, maybe uk, and finishing it off with the masters in education...How does that sound???

Masters Graduation Gift

Graduation gift for a close friend getting their masters in education? (More inside) Posting anon as I'd rather not connect some of the details to them - short story is that I have a very close friend that s graduating with her master's in education in a few weeks. This is a big deal as it's the end point of a rather tough few years involving a divorce, moving her and her very young daughter back in with her parents, hitting a milestone age (40), watching the ex marry the "other woman", and other stuff. I am very close to her and her family, and would really like to get her something that is "awesome" - I'm so proud of what she's done, that I feel like it deserves.. something. It's not about money, it's about sentiment that something can convey. Frankly, I'm out of ideas. I am good at doing the little things that I can to help, but grand gestures are not really my specialty. I am hoping the hive mind has some suggestions of what could do/get..
