Questions About Robert Trent

Good places for a golf getaway?

Ok golfers out there...I need some help. I am looking for a great place to send my boyfriend for a golf getaway. I know of Robert Trent Jones and the big ones like Pebble Beach and Pinehurst...but are there any out there that wouldn't be so "well known" but an awesome course to play? Thanks for your input!! (please make suggestions in the US, he doesn't have a passport). We are in the Minneapolis/ St. Paul...

Is religiosity in correlation with intelligence (analytical, emotional, etc.)?

According to the following articles, the more a person is religious, the more likely they have lower than average intelligence. Why does this correlation exist? The first answer that comes to my mind is that religious beliefs tend to be more illogical or incoherent than secular beliefs, and intelligent people tend to recognize that more quickly. A possible counter-argument is that intelligent people tend to be more successful than others. The lure of worldly success and materialism draws many of these intellectually gifted individuals away from God. After all, who needs God when you (apparently) are making it on your own? Could anyone who is religious explain this with a counter-argument with a cited scientific article which is peer-reviewed and published in a recognized scientific journal? Here are my sources: STUDIES OF STUDENTS 1. Thomas Howells, 1927 Study of 461 students showed religiously conservative students "are, in general, relatively inferior in intellectual ability."
