Questions About Shawshank Redemption

I want to build a fake prison cell set that's mobile. What do I do? Okay, for a video project, I want to make a very real looking prison cell. The problem is, I don't have a large studio I can dedicate, so I basically need something that can be taken apart and stored in a relative's basement or ministorage, and that could fit in a rented van. Nothing medieval, just contemporary and institutional, realistic looking, and possible for an actor to sit/stand in and have it look like I really got access to a prison cell. Floor, walls, ceiling, the whole enchilada. What do I do? How much am I looking to spend? Is there something I'm not thinking of?

I just finished watching The Shawshank Redemption again, which movie gives you "that feeling" no matter how many times you watch it?

This passage gets me every time. In 1966, Andy Dufresne escaped from Shawshank prison. All they found of him was a muddy set of prison clothes, a bar of soap, and an old rock hammer, damn near worn down to the nub. I remember thinking it would take a man six hundred years to tunnel through the w…

I'm planning a movie night at my house this weekend - what awesome (PG13) films do you recommend, Reddit?

We'll be projecting the movie in our back yard, so out of respect for the neighbors (and the fact that we've got a 7-year-old at home) I need to keep any excessive violence and cursing to a minimum. My original hope was to show Tombstone or Shawshank Redemption, but obviously that's not something …

Okay, trichologists, mathematicians, barbers, and black people I got a question for you: What is the highest possible hi-top fade a person could grow?

I just watched House Party 3 and it made me a bit angry. Now we can all agree that House Party 1 is a classic. I'm not going to say it's better than The Shawshank Redemption or Goodfellas but it's at least on the same level. House Party 2 is a sequel that like The Empire Strikes Back some might arg…

If you could pick any one thing (movie, song, painting, invention, etc.) and have made it/ reap all the profits from/ be remembered for making it for the rest of human history, what would you pick and why?

I'd personally pick the Mona Lisa because of it's mysteriousness and way it is still talked about today. Of the other things I listed in the title, for a movie, I'd pick "A Trip To The Moon" or "The Shawshank Redemption", for a song, I guess "Bohemian Rhapsody", and I honestly can't think of an inv…
